Pictured are Gerrit Van Staden with his Pennant winning team of Ronaldo Taljaard, Paul Phillips and Gerald Vowles. Gerrit and his team played impressive bowls to beat a very strong side from Edenvale in a closely fought semi-final.
They then went on to beat the other other semi-finalist team from Modderfontein, skipped by Brian Dixon, in the finals.
